Richard had a $14,000.00 quote for the Sprinkler system as apposed to the $30,000.00 system from Mclean without specs and plans. Richard plans to check Unity.
Terrance was given a bill for the replacement of the existing sprinkler heads. Jerry Way adjusted the heads so they won’t be damaged anymore.
3 months ago Dave Gardner was asked to take action against Bob Angel concerning the problems we’ve had with Potomac Garden Center. Karen suggested using a recommended real estate lawyer.
Terrance received a bunch of bills, including the June-July statement from ABS. It’s also time to renew the contract with ABS. Reminders need to be sent to 2 homes that are really late with their quarterly fees.
ABS recommends we move money to a CD to earn more interest. Terrance will check to see how much we spend monthly.
From auditors, Federal and State tax returns. We get minor refunds back. Our taxable income is from interest earned on our HOA money. Terrance will sign for returns due September 2000.
Facility Services contract. Tot-lots need cleaning. It is in the contract to have tot-lots cleaned. Gary Albert complained about dog mess all over the tot-lots.
A suggestion was made to use the fact that Potomac Garden Center uses the water hydrant on our property for watering their plants.
Road Expansion - Darnestown – Richard attended the meeting. Certain effected neighborhoods will get walls to divide road from houses. Richard met representatives who suggested a small internal road to take us to the light for a left turn. A developer is buying the land off Darnestown in back of our community. We would share access road with that development.
We need to check the annual meeting notice regarding the neighborhood picnic.
